When I was a kid, we could know coming summer by
changing uniform of the school that jacket to short sleeve shirts. I didn't like the white shot sleeve shirts , so I always wore long one rolled up. Even I grew up now, I prefer the style. Anyway, summer is kind of special season and we might need something to welcome it.

I like to shoot parades. And this is the only one I've been photographing annually. Mermaid parade. It is in Coney Island and the day this parade is held is officially called openning Ocean, and people can start swiming from the day till Labor day. I love the parade because it's so casual and it's the only one without any kind of political paraders, and the sound, "Summer's strat!"
